“The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.”
To direct is to cause (someone or something) to turn, move, or point in a particular way.
When God is your source, and your wisdom, everything falls together in it’s place. No matter what you start, or where you start, HE will finish it to the very end. No matter how it looks, HE can turn things around, in a heartbeat. Everything aligns in it’s place, and everything prospers in HIS hands. Even that which the enemy meant for your bad, is turned around for your good.
The wicked however, ruin themselves, roll over their stone, and plan their own grave. They are blind, and callous to truth, ruled by emotion, and feeling, walk right into the trap of the enemy. Led by pride, and rebellion, they are walking into destruction, and don’t even know it.
The pit they dig for others, will be the very pit they fall into themselves, the trouble they cause for others, will be the very trouble they fall into.
Let us not be found wicked in God’s sight, but ask him to direct us in HIS ways!
Lord your ways are not my ways, and your thoughts are not my thoughts. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are your ways higher than my ways, and your thoughts, than my thoughts.
I humbly surrender my ways, and in humility cast away my thoughts. Lead me in the way of Righteousness, for your name sake. Walking through the valley, of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. You protect me, and guard me in all of my ways, surround me in your peace, comfort me.
If there is any wickedness in me, remove it far from me. If there is any deception in my heart, cast it far from me. I desire to be pleasing to you in every way, in Jesus name, amen.
