I love to cook, all kinds of food, all kinds of ways. It is my greatest honor, and privilege to cook for my family!
My husband is Haitian, I am Ukrainian, and we live in America. Our meals consist a little bit of every flavor; You will find Ukrainian meals on my table, Haitian meals, and American meals.
Today I am cooking Chicken Alfredo. A quick meal, that takes 20 minutes of time, with pre-made Alfredo Sauce. My kids love it, I love it, husband just eats what’s on the plate, and loves my cooking, whatever it may be.
Thank God for already made pasta, and Alfredo sauce, but think of those behind the scenes workers who created the pasta, you don’t think about them do you?
Now-days we have everything pre-made. Our pasta is premade, sauce is premade, so is chicken, mixed seasoning. When I think back on the days in Ukraine, how my mom used to make pasta by hand, and cheese by straining, and waiting on a process to develop, I can appreciate those people behind the scenes.
You see I am a cook, and a mom but also spiritual cheff. I will disect the word of God, I will cut it into small slices, I will also prepare a meal for you. All you have to do is sit at the table, and consume the food prepared.
Aren’t you lucky?! But you see we don’t normally appreciate those behind the scenes, the writers, bloggers, designers, builders, and farmers. No because we have the WORD of God in front of us, or we have those books in front of us, and we get what we want from it, kinda like pasta, and pre-made majonaise.
Let us appreciate the spiritual cooks, and so forth for the time, and energy they put in to make your devotional. They had to experience it, research it, put in their time and energy, to just have it ready for you.
And before you go, let me leave this spiritual nugget to ponder upon.
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

When you study something, you put your time, and energy into it. You disect a scripture, meditate upon it, season it with salt, and put some flavor in it, you’re welcome!
Kind of like FOOD, that you prepare in the kitchen.
