PERSEVERE THROUGH TRIALS
LETTER FROM JAMES
TO THE CHURCH AND THE PERSECUTED ONE’S
FOR STRENGTH AND ENCOURAGEMENT
James 1: 12-15
12. Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
Do you feel as if something strange is going on? Are you undergoing varies trials, and fires? Do you feel overwhelmed and ready to throw in the towel ?
WAIT! You are not the only one, there are many like you who are undergoing varies trials, just like you. HOLD ON! REMAIN steadfast! Something beautiful is going on, though it may not look like it, it is!
James plainly says, Blessed is the one who perseveres under trials!
To persevere is to persist in, or remain constant to a purpose, idea, or task, in the face of obstacles or discouragement.
Trials make us who we are today. We are tested constantly, in our abilities and strength, to determine what is lacking, and what is valuable in us. As we remain strong through those trials, we shall be Victorious, lacking nothing. When we finish this race faithfully, the Lord promises us the crown of life!
A CROWN OF THORNS, FOR A CROWN OF GLORY
God NEVER temps us ever! For God cannot be tempted, nor does he tempt anyone. We are tempted when WE follow our fleshly desires . We must DIE to our flesh DAILY and keep in submission, and walk in humility.
How do we do that?
By reading the word EVERY DAY and staying close to God, this kills our fleshy desires and we take on God’s desires for us.
If so, God is waiting for you to repent and turn back to him, and live righteously.
