Touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you.

I can wear a skirt up to my knee, or the floor, never cut my hair, go to church on the sabbath, never eat pork, be a vegetarian, wear kosinki (covering) speak in tongues, wear a tie, a suit, follow the law to a tee, religiously attend every single service, participate in every activity known to men…

But I gossip, slander, and hate people, for no reason. I am angry, and jealous at times. I love malice, and look down upon others, and think I am the one who truly lives for God. I pray, I go to church, and even help the needy… I entertain myself with the world, I even make sarcastic remarks, and crude joking is my style…

I compromise my Christian standard at work, and no one at my university, needs to know I am a believer. I love secular music, and drama is my entertainment. I look like the world, but my heart is pure, I love people, and I love GOD.

Is it even worth it? Are my good deeds even worth it?

We must come out of the world, and touch NOT the unclean thing. Anything poluted, evil, is not our taste, and anything wicked is not our style. We must separate ourselves from the wicked, and practice what we preach. We cannot hide our light under a bushel, and compromise our flavor.

We are the salt of the earth, not sugar, a town in a hill for everyone to see, not be hiden. We cannot live on a fence, dabbling our lifestyles; wanting GOD but the world too. GOING to church, but loving the world too. Singing and praising, but watchin poluted movies too, endulging in all forms of unclean entertainment, but loving the Lord too.

We must come out of her, and be separate. Our lifestyle is different, our conduct, behavior is different, our speech is different, we don’t talk/think like everyone else, we don’t entertain sin like everyone else, we have a STANDARD by which we measure our lives, principles to follow, weight out our deeds, emotions, and feelings. We love what is right, true, and holy. We do not compromise for no men, but are responsible to GOD for every deed, and thing we do.

We shall STAND before GOD and give an account of our lives. Will we hear, “well done” or I never knew you, depart from me, all you workers of iniquity? Work out your SALVATION with fear and trembling, don’t be ignorent, apply the word of GOD, grow and be transformed. Renew your mind, fight your battles, STAND for what is right, deny what’s NOT.

  1. Yes, it’s not easy in today’s world to go to work and praise god….i even avoid speaking of god to anyone in fear of being fired.. . Yikes! Or condemned by the people you are already stuck working with, making matters far worse for yourself . But at home I blab I am a christian! Can I get an amen? I have no fear of losing any friends! Even Joyce Meyer says we don’t have to speak of god when we’re at work….its ignorant shoving god down people’s throats… But go crazy with god outside of work.. .Just don’t deny him, for example: if someone asks me if I’m a Christian at work you better believe I’m telling them YES!

    1. We don’t have to show down christianity, but speak up when we are challenged. This is what I believe, and I am not bending. My light should draw people to GOD, my actions, conduct abd behavior, not my words.
