Wisdom is standing on the corner, shouting from the rooftops, preaching on the streets, via television, via the internet, on the pulpit, at the passerby’s, calling for the simpletons, foolish men, ignorant, rebellious to turn away from their wicked ways.
Wisdom reaches down into your very soul, when you pass by social media status, or scroll through YouTube videos, or glance through a blog like this. It is calling your name, seeking your attention, at this hour of desperation.
Wisdom: How long, will you scoff and mock, how long will you reject instruction, and be enticed by the deception? How long will you continue to indulge on the filthy wine of this world, and delight your soul with earthly pleasure, sipping on the lies, consuming the poison?
How long are you going to reject the principles, and ridicule God’s holy scriptures?
The question is How long?
Turn back and she will receive you
Listen, and she will guide you
But turn away and face destruction.
Turn away and fall into deception.
When we reject wisdom, we openly reject God’s instructions for everyday living. An invitation to receive wisdom STARTS with repentance
Repentance is simply a turning away, from that which is bad for you, to that which is good for you. Not halfway, but a complete 360 degree turn, in your actions, behavior, and conduct. Saying I want wisdom, is a declaration, not a conscious choice of ACTION, doing is ACTION, stepping into it is ACTION. Wisdom does not hang out with foolishness, we must reject foolishness, so we can be guided by wisdom; which has an abundance of treasures and riches. Both cannot live in one temple, one has to go. With foolishness the road is destruction, and deception, but with wisdom, understanding, guidance, and direction is your companion.
The choice is yours to make! Turn back, and do better. Listen and she will guide you, or turn away, in disobedience, and face the consequences of your actions, falling into deception.
What choice will you make today?
Wisdom continues to invite passerby’s to delight in the treasures of her companion, to this day.
