⚡ So, as God’s own chosen people, who are holy [set apart, sanctified for His purpose] and well-beloved [by God Himself], put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience [which has the power to endure whatever injustice or unpleasantness comes, with good temper] ⚡
📖 COLOSSIANS 3:12 AMP 📖
As God’s elect, who are sacred, holy, and set apart, for his purposes, and his glory, can we put on the heart of compassion, kindness, gentelness, and self control, to endure the mishaps, and shortcomings, of others, and EVEN ourselves?
To put on requires ACTION, and willingness to surrender. To willingly step into action whether we like it or not.
Whether I like to or not, I am willingly putting on my coat, for the cold weather outside, so I don’t find myself uncomfortable or unpleasant in my situation.
It is my DAILY duty to put on the fruits of the spirit, so I can withstand unpleasant and burdensome situations, and overcome all obstacles, and cold weather.
