So about 3 years ago I had a dream of the Lord’s coming. It was a normal day, just like any other day. I renember thinking those very words, “a day, like any other”. I also remember preparing for some kind of storm, when I looked up, and there it was.
The skies opened up, and rainbow clouds filled all around it. Immediately my eyes saw a bright light, coming from the middle, but I could not see a physical form, I just knew It was HIM. I could not bear to look at the light, there was so much brightness within, immediately my eyes were drawn to something on top. An angel that was holding a gold trumpet. Holy spirit drew my attention to the trumpet, and it was then that I woke up.
But what I remember most from this dream is the fact that this event happened on an ordinary day. No sounds, no announcement, no warning, just an inclination in my spirit to look at the sky.
I can still remember the details of this dream as it was yesterday. Today I am moved to share this dream.
Listen believer, no one knows the hour, or day of the Lord’s coming, but we must always be ready. Ready to meet the King, with a clean heart, and a right spirit. Dont think just because you are a believer you automatically pass, even the demons tremble, and believe. We must know him personally, create an intentional relationship with him, and have constant communion with Him.
Knowing he was a frail human being, in need of rescue, David the Psalmist proclaimed words that continually resound in my ear.
“Create in me a pure heart, renew a right spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your holy spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of my salvation, grant me a willling spirit to sustain me.” Psalm 51:10-13
Let this be our everyday prayer. Create in us a clean heart, renew a right spirit within us Lord, restore the joy of our salvation, and grant us a willing spirit.
I hope you have been inspired by this post, and empowered to check your heart and your spirit daily.
