“Be still, and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10
Standing still requires no moving or motion, just simply a stillness to remain in one place.
As people we do not like to stand still, we like to move, and move fast. We are like toddlers, moving all over the place, refusing to stand still, and God lets us.
We also want God to move fast, and answer our demands. We want to tell God how to do things, and how fast we want it done. He teaches us to wait, and to our our trust in him.
As we try to control the outcomes, of our situations, God is probably laughting at us, and standing by to see what we would do. He desires that we let go of trying to control the outcomes, and instead, give our situations to God.
Letting go requires trust and confidence. The confudence and assurance, that only God can give. Letting go is not easy, but it is only when we let go, that God can work.
When we rest, he works!
I pray you have been encouraged, as well as inspired to let go, and allowing God to move on your behalf.
