Proverbs 1

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

Proverbs 1:7

When the bible mensions fear, it isn’t talking about earthly fear, the type of fear, that makes us cringe, and run the other way, no when the bible talks about fear, it talks about heavently fear, a respect and honor for the Creator of heaven and earth.

Wisdom starts, when foolishness ends. Solomon states it like this. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” When you desire to acquire wisdom, you must say goodbye to old foolish ways. Old habits, excuses, decitions that lead us nowhere, and away from Christ, choices that lead us astray, and into the pit. Once we recognize our need for change, wisdom is ready to embrace the offender.

I hope this verse was to your delight! Let’s keep seeking God, who alone gives wisdom.

Yours truly, Lena
