From the Throne of Grace 🔥🔥

It pains me to write this, but I MUST!

We say “the enemy has done this” but we ourselves have opened the door for him to walk through. If the door is open, and we willingly let him in, can’t the thief legally take, kill, steal, and destroy?

We say ” how have we done this? ”

We as a nation stopped praying for our leaders, when it is our duty to cover them in prayer. We as a nation stopped asking God for guidence and direction, when he is our wisdom, insight, and direction. We as a nation stopped praying righteous prayers, that are filled with zeal and determination, and instead pray empty, filled with selfish needs comfortable prayers. We stopped fasting, we stopped consecrating, we stopped learning, we stop communicating,

Shall we go on?

We are selfish, we are arogant, we are prideful, envious, we slander others, we hold unforgiveness, bitterness, we accuse others, we judge others, we hate others, we exalt ourselves, and look down on others.

Shall we go on?

We exalt our carrers, bow down to our idols, exalt our spouses, worship our screens, exalt high places. We removed God from our schools, we willingly kill our children through ignorence, we sell our brothers, betray our sisters.

The enemy has authority as long as we give him authority. When we yell at each other, we do the dirty work of the enemy. When we accuse, we do the enemies work. When we hold unforgivess, and share biterness, we give the enemy authority to work in our lives. When we lie, steal, covet and desire what others have, be it talent, riches, or positions, we give the enemy authority to rule our lives, willingly.

Repentance closes those doors 🔥 repentance is acknowledging the wrong, and asking forgiveness to do better. Repentance is turning around from that which is bad to that which is good. Repentance is saying sorry, then following with action, it’s walking in a different direction, it’s staying far away, it’s turning our life around, renewing our minds, and cleansing our hearts, and washing our hands.

It’s humility, its love, it’s forgiveness, it’s mercy, it’s grace, it’s compassion, it’s gentelness, it’s faithfulness, it’s patience, it’s self control.

The enemy cannot do anything when doors are closed, access is denied through repentance. He can only go as far as we let him, go to the territories, valleys, we allow him to, through sin, corruption, and wickedness in our souls, and actions.

Sometimes we sin, and are not aware, speak, but regret later, we spread hate without awareness, and we unknowingly transgress against the Almighty, SIN separates us from him, and corruption keeps us there.

David the Psalmist knew this all too well, he walked in fear before his God, he transgressed but wept bitterly for forgiveness. He killed a man, through his desires, but payed dearly for it.

Let’s ask God to examine our hearts and reveal to us what is not pleasing to him, or is offensive to him, and repent of our ways. Only God knows the intentions in our hearts, only God can see the motives within us. Everything is laid bare before him, and all of our secrets are known to him. He sees when we rise, and we fall asleep, the very words on our lips are known to him and the very thoughts are plainly revealed before him.

Where are the Warriors who would stand in the gap for our loved ones, where are the warriors who would put their lives on the line, for others, where are the soildiers who sweat, spill blood, who weep and wail? Where are the sons and daughters who would pray for our leaders, where are the warriors who would fight for our children, where are the mothers, who war on their knees for their children. Where is the outrage, where are the prayer warriors?

“The thief has come to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come, to give you life, and life more abundantly.” [paraphrased] JOHN 10:10

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13: 4:8

“Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23-24

” If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

“The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.”
Psalms 145:8, KJV 🔥🔥⚔🙏
