Verse of the Day

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. “

Galatians 6:2 ESV

Sounds like a plan, right? Bear each others burdens, sounds easy right?

But did anyone read words before that

” Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.”

Galatians 6:1 ESV

Paul writes to the church in Galatia giving them a fair WARNING 📛

A friendly warning in fact!

A warning is a statement telling of or an indication providing evidence of impending danger, difficulty, or misfortune

What did this ⚠ WARNING entail?

To restore a fellow brother/sister caught in sin! Restore how? In a spirit of gentelness, bring your brother, sister back, rebuke in love! But remember when you do restore, chances are that you may also be tempted by that same sin? to speak harshly perhaps? Be judgmental towards that individual?

Paul says, do it quickly, restore, bear each others burdens!

When you see a fellow sinning, or committing a sinful act contrary to the Word of God, let them know you see them, but pray for them too!

Maybe you have seen your brother stealing where they shouldn’t have, or sister talking to someone she has no bussiness talking to, let them know, restore them gently, so you too will not fall into that sin.

For satan roams about seeking whom he may devour. We are unaware of his schemes.
