A trip to Georgia

My husband surprised us with a trip to Georgia, specifically to see the Georgia Aquarium for our Anniversary month. We have been wanting to go, but with 2020 Quarantine we haven’t been able to check it out.
We’ve checked out the reviews, pics, as well as virtual touring via Youtube, all was left for us is to go and see it in person.
Well Hubby knew how important it was to me, so he decided to surprise us with a family trip, about a week ago, on our anniversary weekend. Thanks babe I enjoyed everybit of it, you’re the best! 😘
May 15-16, 2021
It’s been a few years since we took any trips, so this one was deff going to be one for the books. Just the fact that we are getting out of town sounded exciting, and surprisingly the kids didn’t mind at all!
So we broke the news, and you can imagine the rest of our ride when we told the girls about the trip. We were traveling from Jacksonville, Florida, a 5 Hour trip.
We stayed at a
Hilton Perimeter Suite

In the heart of downtown, located in Atlanta’s premier business district, is conveniently located off I-285, between I-75 and I-85 and is just minutes north of Downtown Atlanta, near Perimeter Mall
The room had a King size bed, with french doors for more of a private stay for couples, and a pull out bed sofa for the girls in the adjacent room. Free parking, Wi-Fi, dining area on site, pool was unfortunately closed off. Fitness center with Gym, workout Room/Bar launge, and bussiness center, and shuttle service.
We loved the stay, and had a pleasant experience; except that they close down the pool area, which was kind of bummer, but then again, it gave us a chance to sight see around town.
Next we checked out the surroundings grabbed a bite to eat, at Caribau Coffee, and checked into our hotel.
No matter where we go we are bound to have a little silly time. So here I am with hubby, just sillying around, and the kids joined as always.
Our next adventure was the Park, just 5 minutes away from the area where we were staying.
ABERNATHY GREENWAY PARK

The kids absolutely loved it! We actually visited it TWICE!
Abernathy park – family friendly park with lots of swings and playground areas, for the whole family to enjoy off Abernathy Road.
Before we knew it, it was time to get dinner. We made our reservations and off we went.
Mills Kitchen and Bar fell into my sights via OpenTable– an app to familiarize yourself with your surrundings, find places to eat, sights to see.

Our experince was pleasant, and enjoyable, under the Red umbrella we were seated and served. Our waiter Paul went above and beyond our expexations. He was very attentive and cogniscent to our needs, and what we wanted to order.
First we set on the patio, and later we asked to sit inside, to which the waiter quickly re-seated us, and made our experience enjoyable.
After much talking, we found out our waiter was also a talented painter. We sparked the conversation and even connected.

Here ia his INSTA-gram, I deff recommend checking him out if you are in the area, or want to get his services.
The night went by prettty quick, and we were on the way to our hotel, where it was quickly lights out!
In the morning our hotel clerk accommodated and even offered an ALL out COMPLIMENTRARY breakfast for ALL, completely free of charge. Thank you HILTON PERIMETER FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY !
After a check out we packed our bags and got ready for the experince at the Aquarium.
GEORGIA AQUARIUM
We got our parking tickets online on SALE for 12$ which normally runs at 17$ and our Aquarium tickets at $39.80, with reservation for 2 o’clock.
If you are traveling, and want to experience the Aquarium, get your tickets online, or you will miss out on the adventure. It is RESERVATION ONLY!
Well let me tell you, the experiemce at the AQUARIUM was worth the price and more. So much to see, so much to experience, so much fun!
Each area offers a unique experience for the whole family. Fishes upon fishes, sharks, turtles, sea animals, you name it, it was all there.
My most favotite part, as probably anyone’s was the tunnel aka ” Ocean Voyager” and my daughter’s who is 12 the “Predators in the Deep” aka Sharks!
I was surprised how many people were there, with Covid restrictions and all, and how everyone was cognicent of having masks on, as well as social distance themselves.
We truly enjoyed every bit of it, and could have stayed more. There was much to see, but not enough time. The Aquarium offers a unique Dolphin Presentation, extra 5$ 4 D Theater which I later found out included in general administration. shark stingray interaction area, and so much more. My daughter touched the stingrays, which tickled her quite a bit.
OVERALL I’d give the Georgia Aquarium
