Full Armor ON

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

Ephesians 6:10-11

You have selected your outfit and accessories, and you are ready to step out and conquer the world, but are you spiritually prepared?

Are you trained and equipped to face the level of warfare you are about to face? Satan is ready, the agents of darkness are ready to engage and fire in your direction. The fiery darts are hot, and ready to attack your life, family, possessions, and anything that belongs to you. Knowing that the thief is out to kill, steal, and destroy, are you not going to get ready, and fight back?

I was not ready, I lacked knowledge and understanding of scripture, I was told to believe that the enemy has bigger fish to catch, and fry. So when I stepped on the Battlefield I was constantly getting hurt, and wounded. I asked the Holy Spirit to help me, and to teach me, and he did.

Just as it is important to wear clothes, to protect ourselves from varies forms of weather, and elements, so it is important to wear protective gear spiritually.

The Book of Ephesians 6, Paul reveals to us this spiritual armor, and the operations of the enemy at hand. Without the FULL Armor on we are open and vulnerable for the enemy to attack. Let us not be unaware of the devils plots and schemes. ” that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11

Growing up I did not know how to pray, let alone the importance of prayer, so as a result I kept getting hit left, and right until I had no prayer life, or even desire to pray,

Moving further from God, and towards the world.

Every so often I prayed, and RECITED prayers that my mother, relatives, and pastor prayed, but it absolutely had no meaning to my life.

I had no substance in my prayer, no connection, just words with no meaning

Let me humor my Ukranian or Slavic audience for a minute

” Ты прибежишь наше, защита наша, Бог мой на которого я уповаю”

Sounds familiar?

We strived to pray like our pastors prayed, and when we didn’t find connection, we recited those words like a broken radio, without having any meaning, whatsoever.

We modeled prayer, but rarely did we mean it!

God wants to have a relationship with you and I, NOT just some meaningless connection or recited words, HE the creator of the Universe wants to have connection with YOU and I.

What steps do you need to make today to make this happen?

Prayer is important in the life of a believer. It’s a conversation with God about the things that matter to you, it is protection for your daily journey, and guidance to your NOW, and NEXT.

I went through a JOURNEY where God himself dressed me for BATTLE, taught me how to pray, dressed me in the Armor, and taught me how to intercede for others. God stood on my behalf, and he fought for me.

MY SWORD STORY

I was praying when all of a sudden I saw myself without my FULL armor on, I had no weapons to fight with, or shield to protect myself from fiery darts of the enemy. The commander handed me the Armor, peice by peice, that day. He taught me the importance of spiritual Armor, trained me to be a Warrior, sharpened my Sword, and gave me a passion to pursue my Destiny, discovering my Purpose.
