Be a Golden Vessel

We were told that there are many vessels in the house of God, some for honor, others dishonor…There are golden vessels, silver and bronze vessels, wooden and clay vessels.
If you grow in the Lord and keep yourself clean and open, God will use you as a vessel of honor. Keep growing. Don’t be satisfied with where you are. There is so much of God in store for you. God can use you, as you go deeper, and deeper in Him, but you must be obedient and have a willing heart.
Too often in life, it’s easy to get stuck in a rut, doing the same old stuff the same old way over and over every day. But if we are going to live out our full potential, we should constantly be growing and sharpening our skills. We should strive to learn and grow every single day because when we stop learning, we stop growing. When we stop growing, we stop living.
You were created to grow, and exceed your limits. You were made to expand, outgrow your fears, test your heights, and trust a bigger God. Some of you will not embrace something new because we are afraid of failing and getting disappointed, so we coward toward the sweet side of safety and stay unmoved and stagnant.
How can you heal the sick if you cannot move a muscle? Does the scripture “believers shall lay hands on the sick and the sick will recover” sound familiar to you? Lay hands, He said…but you will not do that. You refuse to move. What are you afraid of? You will not even mention or call the name of Jesus by faith. Why? How will you be active in the Lord and heal the sick if you do not pray? How can you receive if you do not ask? How can you be active if you do not live Jesus lifestyle? I wonder! Get rid of your safe level and walk with God. Trust Him and live. Be active, not passive!
In this season of your life, what are you doing to stretch yourself? What are you doing to improve your skills? Don’t get trapped into thinking that “good enough” is good enough. You were created for more than just the average. Today is a new day, and there are new heights for you to climb. Pursue what you love and keep developing that area of your life. Take a class, or find a mentor who will help you live skillfully. As you do, you’ll see growth and increase. You’ll stand before leaders and rulers and live the blessed life God has in store for you!
You should learn to be happy where you are, but don’t settle where you are. God never performs His greatest victories in the past. They’re always in the future. You should keep moving. Giving God thanks and praise as He continues to bless you. Never reject a blessing or say it is enough. Keep going for it. Keep receiving from God. Don’t stop.
Remember today, you haven’t touched the surface of what God has in store for you. There is so much more! He’s going to open doors you never dreamed would open. He’s going to bring talent out of you that you didn’t know you had! You’re going to see explosive blessings that thrust you to a new level. Keep praying, keep hoping, keep believing and don’t settle where you are. Embrace the blessings God has in store for your future!
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father,
Forgive us for we have sinned. We have not moved from our safe level or comfort zone for a long time when you wanted us to move. Help us to trust you more and to realize we can excel and grow beyond our limits. For we know you will always be with us, You will not abandon or forsake us.
Daddy God
We want to heal the sick, raise the dead, command cancer to shrink off and die, and speak to our mountains to move in Your name. Help us to believe and live Jesus lifestyle. For with You, all things are possible. Help us to believe in ourselves in Jesus name.
My Father
Today I choose to rise out of mediocrity. I choose to give my very best to everything I set my hand to do. Teach me to live skillfully so that my life is a continual praise to You in Jesus’ name.
