This verse is talking about a Proverbs 31 Woman. A woman of wisdom, honor, and virtue. A woman who fears the Lord, and is careful to observe his commands. She is a woman of strength, power, and she is blessed.
There are benefits to being that woman. Though being a mom, is one of the hardest jobs out there, with no break, or pay, I truly appreciate being a mom.
Sleepless nights, dirty dishes, endless diapers, loads of laundry, endless meals, doesn’t compare to the feeling and satisfaction of being a mom. The greatest most satisfying, full of purpose, job in the world. Yea they are endless tasks, but when seen from a different perspective are full of life.
Raising your little one’s, teaching the principles and values of life!
Bringing up children, training them to take on the world.
A scientist, doctor, or perhaps a little nurse, or an influencer, painter or musician, pastor or preacher, who will change the world. ❤
One of the benefits mentioned here in this verse, is that her children grow up to call her blessed. Not only that, but her husband also, it says, praises her.
She raises children that will respect her and honor her, for what she does, as she trains them in the ways of life, teach the word of God, as well as principles and values of life.
Her husband, also praises her. He gives her honor, he talks good things about her, and respects what she does. He doesn’t criticize her, but rather upholds her. Their family is blessed
I am reminded of a scripture that speaks deeply to moms, and since it is Mother’s Day weekend, I wanted to remind us moms to keep training our children in the ways of God, and thank us for putting the effort in, when it doesn’t look like anything just yet.
We may not see results right away, but if we continue to plant seeds, speak life, we shall reap the harvest if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9
To Mothers everywhere
I honor you, and celebrate you! You are moving mountains, and if no one notices what you do, GOD DOES, and you are appreciated for all the things you do. ❤
Happy Mothersday. What a beautiful message to Moms. 🙂
