Solomon dedicates a Temple to GOD
When the Israelites saw what God has done, they knelt and gave God glory, singing ” he is good, his love endures forever ” Many of us can join in, we know the song. We can even sing the entire song 
in unison.

WORD DEFINITION

When we are done building God's Temple. When we are done doing what God has called us to do, we are to dedicate the Temple to the Lord, with songs and worship. We are to praise God for what he has done, and WAIT on the LORD to bless it !
“I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices."
So God has listened to the prayer and has selected from several others, as a place for sacrifices. In other words, God had favor on Solomon’s Temple because of how he dedicated this temple. When we are building to the Lord, whatever it may be, a business, career, our children, or spouse we must dedicate them to the Lord, and God will bless it! God will select your project because you have taken the time to dedicate it to him.
And if we have prayed, but it seems GOD isn't listening... We are to
- Ask for forgiveness. God is faithful and just to forgive us of our offenses. God can make things better, and he can bring healing to an area of hurt.
- BE HUMBLE. God uplifts those that are humble, but he puts the prideful in their place.
- Turn away! When we turn away, we are no longer walking in the same direction, walking away requires us to walk in a different direction.
When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.
When things don't work out, praise GOD regardless. God can turn things around in a heartbeat. God says my hand will be on your life, because of your Obedience to me. Because of your dedication to me, because of your consecration to me, because you have chosen, I have chosen you! ✨️ I have selected you because you have selected me!
WORD DEFINITION
Covenant is an agreement, an agreement between two parties, in this case, Solomon and God.
GOD makes a covenant with Solomon and anyone that fills their position by dedicating their temple.
