Daniel’s Fast is super popular today! It’s a time when people skip certain foods, just like the prophet Daniel did. Many Christians practice it, and a lot of churches do it together every year.
In the first and tenth chapters of the Book of Daniel, Daniel asked his Babylonian captors if he could skip their rich, sweet diet, which they thought was healthy. Instead, he and the other men from Judah followed the Law of Moses and avoided many of those foods.
