Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
Faith is looking at God and trusting Him for everything, while hope is looking at the future and trusting Him for it. Faith gives us strength: the inner resolve to withstand the challenges of waiting.
In the day we cry out to the Lord, He will answer us and make us bold with strength to our core. We have the Creator of the Universe inside on our side. Don’t grow weary, in due time….
In Hebrews 11 there’re many examples of people who overcame obstacles and achieved great things through Faith. They looked at God and trusted Him for everything and looked at the future hopeful, trusting God for it.
Facing disappointment is hard, but it helps to remember the definition of disappointment. It’s God’s way of showing us a better plan. Someone once called our disappointments His appointments. We pray for Miracles but sometimes we’re disappointed when we don’t receive them. God chooses to deliver how He Will, according to His Will.
By trusting in God’s unwavering faithfulness and reflecting on His past blessings, we experience a profound renewal of strength and courage.
We know our prayers are not always answered the way we want them to. Therefore, we should pray for the Will of God to be so.
We don’t understand sometimes why He chooses to go the route He does, but we know He loves us and will always have our best interest at heart.
After all, It’s not about us, it’s about Him and for His Glory. He knows what’s best for each of us. We’ve got a Friend in Jesus.
Father in Jesus’ name, Thank You for the gift of today. We acknowledge You in all our ways because we’re in need of Your Divine guidance. Let Your presence be real to us today. Let it bring peace to anxious thoughts and hurting hearts. Thank you for making new ways to get us through the waiting period. The world defines hope as something we would like to happen, but Your hope is something guaranteed to happen; It’s sure and certain. When life disappoints us, we will find You at the intersection ready to reassure and redirect us. Heal according to Your will. Comfort and strengthen the bereaved and broken hearts. Amen
