Parable of the Ten Talents

Parables are KINGDOM analogies designed to convey a spiritual message.
Jesus often illustrated his point through parables. Its PURPOSE is that seeing they [the doubters, unbelievers, hypocrites] may not see, and hearing they may not hear, but ONLY the ones who have a spiritual eye, and ear of the KINGDOM.
This KINGDOM is operated by FAITH, and not by SIGHT
MANY do not know what a KINGDOM is, and how it is OPERATED! In order to walk in the KINGDOM we must have the KNOWLEDGE of the KINGDOM, and the KEY to enter in is FAITH

Jesus is using everyday things and matters to teach his followers a valuable lesson. It is fascinating to see how even the most mundane details can be transformed into something meaningful when used in the right context. He would use simple things and common ingredients, like bread, wheat, and yeast to help folks better understand what he was trying to say. This one time, he told a story that was super relatable and it totally worked – it helped his followers get a better grasp of what he was teaching.
Jesus was pretty cool at using regular stuff and stories to get his point across to people.
Take a moment to reflect on the symbolism behind parables, and let it guide you on your own spiritual journey. By paying attention to the small details, and seeking out the deeper meanings behind them, we too can learn to live a more fulfilling life that is guided by faith and wisdom.
The Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 19:12-28)
In this Parable a man goes out on a JOURNEY and he is looking to invest his talent while he is away. “Some calculate the talent in the parables to be equivalent to 20 years of wages for the common worker. Other scholars estimate more conservatively, valuing the New Testament talent somewhere between $1,000 to $30,000 dollars today” via learn religions
Volunteers come forward. To the first one he gives 5 talents, to another 2 Talents, and to another 1 Talent each accourding to his ability.
Distributed and agreed upon, with terms and conditions applied!
He made his bid, handed the talent over to the men, and departed on his journey. He didn’t give instructions to the men, he simply gave them his investment, and departed.
In this parable the heart of the three investors is revealed, and exposed, and the attitude behind it.
One goes out and invest those 5 into 5 more.
” The one who had received five talents went off right away and put his money to work and gained five more. ” verse 16
In other words, he takes what the man gives him and makes a double PROFIT out of it.
In the same way, the one who had two gained two more.” verse 17 .
The second one with 2 talents, goes and invests his 2 into 2 more
“But the one who had received one talent went out and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money in it.” verse 18
third one does something different. He goes and digs a hole, and hides the money, and does not use it.
