I was NOT ready
I was not ready, I lacked knowledge and understanding of scripture, I was told to believe that the enemy has bigger fish to catch, and fry. So when I stepped on the Battlefield I was constantly getting hurt, and wounded. I asked the Holy Spirit to help me, and to teach me, and he did.
Just as it is important to wear clothes, to protect ourselves from varies forms of weather, and elements, so it is important to wear protective gear spiritually.
The Book of Ephesians 6, Paul reveals to us this spiritual armor, and the operations of the enemy at hand. Without the FULL Armor on we are open and vulnerable for the enemy to attack. Let us not be unaware of the devils plots and schemes. ” that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11
Growing up I did not know how to pray, let alone the importance of prayer, so as a result I kept getting hit left, and right until I had no prayer life, or even desire to pray.

Ministry Call
Today’s reminder is simple
Carry each others burdens.
Greek Word for ministry, is “diakoneo” which means to serve.
To carry each other’s burdens is to serve others to the best of our capacity or space.
This morning reminded me how deeply God calls us to walk alongside one another. After drop‑off, a needed nap, breakfast, and faithfully engaging with my community, I felt this verse settle in my spirit.
When you do this to the least of these…
Galatians 6:2 invites us to be present for others;
to lift, support, and encourage in ways that reflect Christ’s love.
When we carry each other’s burdens, we become vessels of His compassion and care. Today, I’m choosing to show up with intention, gentleness, and grace.
As you read, take time to:
– Reflect on what you’ve learned
– Journal your thoughts and insights
– Pray and ask God to guide you
– Share what you’ve learned with others
Where to Start in the Bible?
Before we actually read the BIBLE, let’s get to the Basics of the Bible, often referred to as an acronym
” Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth”
Believers’ manual or guide to godly living.

The BIBLE is divided into 2 sections, the OLD Testament & the NEW Testament

It’s not about competition or a race; it’s about learning, self-awareness, application, and living out your faith. I started with Proverbs, and it became one of my favorite books in the Bible. I can’t put it down – there are so many treasures within!<br>
Memorization Techniques & Methods
Today, let’s try something a bit different. I invite you to memorize a verse simply by reading it. Take some time to read the verse several times, start committing it to memory, and spend today reflecting on its meaning and significance.
For Example:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” — Matthew 11:28-30
Break the scripture down into parts. Memorize the first section, and once you feel confident, move on to the second and then the third. Before you know it, you’ll have the entire verse memorized. I’ve used this technique with my Sunday school class, and it has proven to be very effective. We are encouraged to hide God’s Word in our hearts so that we can recite it when needed, as stated in Psalm 119:11.
In addition to various memorization methods, understanding the Biblical Context is essential for grasping the meaning of scripture. Biblical context refers to the different perspectives and viewpoints that shape the interpretation of biblical texts. Here are some key aspects of context to consider
Historical Context
Knowing the time period and events surrounding the texts helps clarify their meanings and the authors’ viewpoints. Understanding the historical background can illuminate why certain messages were conveyed.
Cultural Context
The customs and beliefs of the era influence how the texts were written and understood, impacting their interpretation. Recognizing cultural nuances can enhance understanding of the scripture’s message.
Lateral Context
The genre and structure of the texts are important, as different genres have unique rules for interpretation. Knowing whether a text is poetry, narrative, or epistle can guide how we approach its meaning.
Theological Context
The main themes and doctrines of the Bible, such as God’s character and His plan for redemption, provide a framework for understanding the texts. This context helps us see how individual verses fit into the larger narrative of Scripture.
