Armor of GOD

Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

You have picked out your outfit, physically speaking and accessories to go with it, you are ready to step out, and conquer the world, but are you Spiritually ready?
Are you trained and equipped to face the level of warfare you are about to face/? Satan is ready, the agents of darkness are ready to engage and fire in your direction. The fiery darts are hot, and ready to attack your life, family, possessions, and anything that belongs to you. Knowing that the thief is out to kill, steal, and destroy, are you not going to get ready in case of an attack?
- I was not ready, I lacked knowledge and understanging of scripture, I was told to belive that the enemy has bigger fish to catch, and fry. So when I stepped on the Battlefield I was constantly getting hurt, and wounded. I asked the Holy Spirit to help me, and to teach me, and he did.

The armor?
With all that is going on around us, we can see the enemy is not playing, and that he is no longer hiding. He is raising the bar high, and destroying everything in his path. He is sending a message of destruction, fear and death, into our communities, and cities. He is a bully, an intimidator, and we will not stand his tactics, or his bullying!
The putting on an armor is of much importance, let alone the importance of a FULL armor. You wouldn’t go out into cold weather half dressed, why would you go out into the battlefield half armored?
The minute we step out of our home, or even the minute we get out of our bed, we are faced with battles. People, situations, circumstances, that require our attention, fears, doubts, condemnation, frustration that is ready to attack us.
The enemy watches us like a roaring, hungry lion, seeking to devour, looking to catch us off guard. This is why Paul instructs us to put on the FULL armor.
When we have the FULL armor on, we are protected from the schemes of our enemy, we are ready for anything he throws our way, but when we are half dressed, we are vulnerable and open for the enemy to attack.
As Paul says to the church in Ephesus, he speaks to us believers as well. Put on the FULL armor of God, so that you can stand against the schemes, and plots of the enemy. He is always planning, scheming, seeking to destroy. I have given you a way out!

Before I step out unto the war zone, I must make sure that I have my armor of protection on, that I have my helmet, breatblate, belt of truth, shoes of peice, my Sword intact, shielded from the enemy. It is my responsibility as a WARRIOR to gain this Armor and sharpen my Sword.
MY SWORD STORY
I was praying when all of a sudden I saw myself without my FULL armor on, I had no weapons to fight with, or shield to protect myself from fiery darts of the enemy. The commander handed me the Armor, peice by peice, that day. He taught me the importance of spiritual Armor, trained me to be a Warrior, sharpened my Sword, and gave me a passion to pursue my Destiny, discovering my Purpose.
