Solomon is speaking to his sons as a father and a mentor. He teaches them to seek wisdom early on!
It doesn’t matter where you START; what’s important is that you stay consistent and see it through to the very END. If you started with the book of GENESIS, remain there; read and meditate, one chapter at a time, before moving on to the next book. If you encounter something you don’t understand, reach out to your pastor, leader, or mentor for interpretation. They are there to GUIDE you until you can read through the Bible on your own.
This method not only enhances comprehension of the Scriptures but also encourages personal growth and spiritual development.

Study Group: Join a group for support and accountability. Engaging with others can enhance your understanding and provide encouragement as you progress in your study.
Take your time reading each passage, allowing God to speak to you through His Word. As you read, pay attention to verses that resonate with you or seem highlighted in your spirit. When you encounter a verse that particularly stands out, write it down in your journal.
Reflect on why this verse speaks to you and how it relates to your life. Consider questions such as:
By taking the time to meditate on these verses, you deepen your understanding and foster a more meaningful connection with the Scriptures.
What do you think God is saying to you in this Scripture? Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and reveal Jesus to you. Take a moment to listen and reflect on the message. Paraphrase and write this Scripture down in your own words in your journal, capturing the essence of what you believe God is communicating to you. Consider how this passage relates to your personal experiences and how it might guide your actions or thoughts moving forward.
Personalize what you have read by asking yourself how it applies to your life right now. Write down how this Scripture can apply to you today. Reflect on specific situations in your life where this message resonates. Consider questions like: What changes do I need to make? How can I embody the teachings of this Scripture in my daily interactions? Write down actionable steps you can take to integrate this wisdom into your life.
This can be as simple as asking God to help you use this Scripture, or it may be a greater insight on what He may be revealing to you. Write down YOUR thoughts and reflections in your journal, or maybe even start a BLOG with your thoughts and reflections! Consider expressing gratitude for the insights you’ve gained and asking for guidance on how to live out these teachings. Allow your prayer to be a conversation with God, inviting Him to shape your understanding and actions as you apply His Word to your life.
Your Story is important to someone else. The details of your testimony are life to someone else. I couldn’t have spoken into strangers life, if I myself did not go through the battles. I can only speak because I know the pain, the hurt, and confusion. I pray God comforts us, and gives us the grace to tell our story, no matter how small the details are.
Let’s not hesitate to share our testimonies and help each other walk through the valleys, and reach our destinations together. With a sense of fulfillment, and helping others get there can be a rewarding and satisfying experience, because when we lift each other up, we don’t just reach our destinations, we thrive in them.
I’d love to share your Story on my SITE!
