Sadducces
– were religious authority who did not believe in Ressuraction of the dead and were part of a jewish sect.
Accourding to The Editors of Encyclopaedia Britannica
The name Sadducce may come from Zadok, the high priest during the reigns of David and Solomon, and this family was later chosen by Ezekiel to oversee the Temple. The Sadducces were primarily composed of high priests, aristocratic families, and merchants, representing the wealthier segment of the population.
“We must not reason with our accusers, redirect your naysayers to the word” – Gospel of Mark 12
You can read the entire Chapter, or come along on the journey with me, to listen to my Podcast on Mark 11 & 12 at about 08:55 interval
Jesus was about his normal duties, teaching and preaching when Sadducces came to Jesus about a resuraction matter ( vs 19-24)
Jesus was intentional in answering his naysayers with wisdom and discernment. He knew who was coming to him, and he redirected them to God’s Word.
Proverbs 1:1-33
Ezekiel 1:1-28
in which another religious official questions Jesus about the greatest Commandment ( vs 28-34)
Love GOD (Deut 6:4-5)
Love people ( Lev 19:18)
The only way to deal with your naysayers and religious teachers is to point them to the WORD, and take out your Sword.
Jesus in Matthew 4:1-11 & Luke 4:1-13 fought the enemy with SWORD
1. Study the WORD. When religious officials came to Jesus, questioning him, he always responded with wisdom, the Word of God, and a discerning spirit. Study to show yourself approved to GOD, worker not ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
2. DISCERN with the WORD of GOD. Don’t reason with emotions and feelings; go straight to the Word of God. The word of GOD is powerful enough to discern through emotions, even to the very bone and marrow, and through attitudes of heart. Hebrews 4:12
3. Test all spirits. Not everyone who says “Lord, Lord” comes from GOD. Be sure to test people, including law givers and officials, whether they are of GOD. Matthew 7:21; 1 John 4:1

Your Story is important to someone else. The details of your testimony are life to someone else. I couldn’t have spoken into strangers life, if I myself did not go through the battles. I can only speak because I know the pain, the hurt, and confusion. I pray God comforts us, and gives us the grace to tell our story, no matter how small the details are.
Let’s not hesitate to share our testimonies and help each other walk through the valleys, and reach our destinations together. With a sense of fulfillment, and helping others get there can be a rewarding and satisfying experience, because when we lift each other up, we don’t just reach our destinations, we thrive in them.
I’d love to share your Story on my SITE!
