The Heart of Psalm 16
David, a man after God’s own heart, faced numerous challenges throughout his life. From battles to personal betrayals, he experienced the full spectrum of human emotions and struggles. Yet, in Psalm 16, we see him turn to God in prayer, expressing his trust and reliance on the Lord.
Prayer of Trust & Confidence in God

Not only are you my portion. You are my cup, the capacity of a vessel or a container.
David, in Psalm 23, popularelly known as the Shepherd’s Psalm,
says ” you annoint my head with oil. My cup overflows.“
When we view God as our portion, we acknowledge that our fulfillment and joy come only from Him.
