My passion and purpose ignited through a dream. A dream that has awakened my desire to pursue purpose, and discover my spiritual identity, which later ignited my desire for ministry, and my calling!
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10

I never really thought of myself anything more than just a believer, a church goer, UNTIL the LORD awakened me, to a GREATER PURPOSE, and my DESTINY through a DREAM.
This dream, was unlike anything I have ever experienced. I dream every so often, but this dream was unlike, anything I ever dreamed. In Fact I can still see the images, and remember the details, so clearly, as if it happened yesterday.
On a normal Sunday afternoon, after a long morning, and an afternoon lunch, when I dozed off to sleep. Suddenly, I felt myself being lifted into the air, with thoughts racing through my mind.
In this dream I found myself without my body, but my thoughts, and feelings were all still there. I was raised high above the ground, as if I was looking into a deep well. I looked down, and in the distance, I saw our planet, scattered on the pages, of a gigantic book.
I remember seeing the continent of AFRICA distinctly, and Europe, as well as North America, South America and so forth. The cover of my book was inspired by this beautiful image from my dream.
I then saw myself being taken to different areas, one location at a time. My mission was to ignite a light, and I only had a few seconds to do it. Once I ignited the light, a supernatural force would move me to another place. I remember hearing a voice on my right side, telling me to GO, and right away, I would find myself in different locations around the globe, and a MIGHTY HAND was directing my moves.
I particularly remember a presence at my right hand that encouraged me gently and reassured me every step of the way. “ Do not be afraid, I am at your right hand, you will not be shaken!” which reminded me a of a scripture, Isaiah 41:10
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”

THIS IS IT!
I saw an opening that we were all drawn to, and the feeling of joy, peace, comfort increased. I remember feeling this unspeakable JOY that is a combination of all the feelings, and emotions I could think of piled into ONE.
I looked around me, and I saw all these lights going up as if there was a magnet pulling everyone in, at the top. We were all drawn to a special opening in the sky. I felt a mix of happiness, and joy as well as other mix of emotions, as I entered what felt like heaven, and just as I was about to enter in, I felt a hand touch me,
It was my husband waking me up, in time for second service, for church. It was such a short nap, or at least felt like it.
I opened my eyes, and immediately thought to myself. I am back on earth, I don’t want to be back here! I want to go back! Why did you wake me up? My husband looked at me puzzled, and confused, “some dream you had, ha?” chuckling, indeed it was, indeed it was!
I woke up ignited to GO! But when I woke up, I wasn’t an evangelist, nor a missionary, nor was I even a minister. In fact I have forgotten all about the dream, and have continued to live my life, as if nothing happened. It was a few years later that I was reminded of my dream, and found myself in the midst of my calling.

Your Story is important to someone else. The details of your testimony are life to someone else. I couldn’t have spoken into strangers life, if I myself did not go through the battles. I can only speak because I know the pain, the hurt, and confusion. I pray God comforts us, and gives us the grace to tell our story, no matter how small the details are.
Let’s not hesitate to share our testimonies and help each other walk through the valleys, and reach our destinations together. With a sense of fulfillment, and helping others get there can be a rewarding and satisfying experience, because when we lift each other up, we don’t just reach our destinations, we thrive in them.
