I didn’t properly shine my light, in-fact I was ashamed of being a Christian, or anything that bares that name. I hid my light under a bushel, like the bible says. I was going to church, called myself a Christian, but never told my friends about CHRIST OR what I believed. I didn’t want to offend others, and I was afraid to be different in front of others. As a result, my light did not SHINE, but was hidden underneath. I did not want anyone to know I was a believer. I did not want to be different, unique or peculiar. I wanted to be like the rest of the crowd, to fit in, and even be like the world. But God did not create me to be like the rest of the crowd. He created me, YOU to be different, peculiar and be his carriers of Light.
Let the good works you do, the gifting God placed in you, the purpose for what you were created for, morals, sound judgment, be magnified in your life, to people around you. Let the light on the inside generate God’s goodness, and Grace to people around us. Let the light speak of his glory, so people would want the light of God in their life.

When we hide our light on purpose, the little light that we do have will die out. A candle when covered, cannot shine any longer. So it is with our spirit.

Sometimes we hide behind our situations, cover up under our circumstances, we are ashamed of our past, and fear driven, but we must not hide, but SHINE.
To SHINE is to generate a visible source of energy!
LET IT BE VISIBLE, to people around us. Let our faith be visible to those we are around. Let our confidence build others, let trust in our Savior be magnified, and glorified. When we have an opportunity to give God glory, let us not be ashamed, or hide behind excuses. Let us instead come forward, and allow God to cleanse us of our unrighteousness. Let God have his way in us.To SHINE is to STAND out and REFLECT the goodness of GOD ever so brightly.
Create in us a clean heart, renew a right spirit within us. A spirit that is willing, a spirit that is meek, a spirit that changes us from inside out.
