Purpose is released when identity is formed, and discovering who we are is an essential part of that journey.
What is my Identity? Who am I? What am I here for?
What is identity, and how do we truly find ourselves?
Identity is not just a title or profession—it is the core of who we are, the characteristics that define us beyond labels. Before we can step into our purpose, we must first discover our true identity, because purpose is built upon identity.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

A mailman once asked me a profound question, and now I ask you the same:
If all your degrees, titles, and accomplishments were taken away, who would you be at your core?
You may be a mother, daughter, teacher, doctor, or nurse by profession. But when all external achievements are removed, who are you in the depths of your being?
I wrestled with this question for days. Then, I began to list names:
- I am a mother,
- a wife,
- sister,
- daughter,
- a friend.
- a warrior,
- an intercessor
- a leader,
- and a mentor.
The mailman gently replied,
Those are all good answers but are not correct. Everything you have mentioned here ends, and can be taken away, but your identity as a daughter of GOD cannot be taken away. God is your father, and you are his daughter forever.

Titles change. Accomplishments fade. People pass away, and identities change, but your identity in Christ remains unshaken. You are God’s special possession, created with purpose and divine intention.

Your Story is important to someone else. The details of your testimony are life to someone else. I couldn’t have spoken into strangers life, if I myself did not go through the battles. I can only speak because I know the pain, the hurt, and confusion. I pray God comforts us, and gives us the grace to tell our story, no matter how small the details are.
Let’s not hesitate to share our testimonies and help each other walk through the valleys, and reach our destinations together. With a sense of fulfillment, and helping others get there can be a rewarding and satisfying experience, because when we lift each other up, we don’t just reach our destinations, we thrive in them.
