Warrior Gideon
Verse of the Day 📙
When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.” Judges 6:12 NIV
When Gedion was struggling and questioning GOD, because it seemed that they were winning, targeted on all sides, by the Midianites. God send an angel to speak to him. He called him a Warrior, and a mighty one at that.
God send protection with Gedion as he went on destroying Egyptian's gods and treasures. At first he was afraid, but God gave him POWER to overcome his weaknesses. In our weaknesses God is STRONG!
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Don't wait till everything is set into place, walk into it, EVEN when you are afraid.

Gift of Salvation ❤️

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God
Ephesians 2:8 (NIV)
We are Saved by FAITH
No amount of work, performance or religious duty or effort can earn us salvation. It is a GIFT of GOD, not of ourselves, not of anything we did, but SIMLY the LOVE of GOD who SAVES us from eternal punishment of sin.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
We as humans are destined to perish, BUT GOD in his mercy came up with a brilliant PLAN, to save us humans and give us the GIFT of eternal life.
We are crafted or created for good works, to encourage, uplift and comfort one another.

Our religious performance will not get us anywhere, only FAITH will.

Good Afternoon,
If you went to church, or did a study, what did you learn today?
Our pastor taught on forgiveness, how we must continue to allow God, to perform a surgery on us 🙏🏻 to remove anything in us that stands as an offense to God's plan and purpose for our lives.
Forgiveness is not easy but if we give it to God, the process becomes a little easier. 🙏🏻
Forgivess is not for the other person, its for you.
You may never get an apology from the other person, just do your best to walk in love.
Which reminds me, of today's Verse of the Day
Psalms 51:10 NKJV
"Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me."
David pleading with God to transform his heart. He had just commited a sin, and its eating at him. Instead running from God, David runs to God, to perform a surgery on him, to examine his ways, and to create in him a new heart. The surgery that takes place removes his transgression from him, and in it's place, a new heart is birthed and a renewed spirit develops.

Strong Tower
Verse of the Day 📙
The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

Who do we go to, when we run into trouble?
Do we try to figure it out on our own?
Do we trust GOD?
or do we trust and depend in our own plan and salvation?

the righteous ( those who are in right standing with God, aligned perfectly to receive God's plan and salvation for their lives)
run into it ( intentionally, on purpose)
and are SAFE

The Bread of Life

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
John 6:35 (NIV)

- thirsty living waters.
Jesus relates a common metaphor of our daily needs. We need water to survive, we need bread to keep us full.
When you come to Jesus not only are you filled, you will NEVER be thirsty again. The type of thirst Jesus is talking about here is not your normal thirst, it is spiritual and it is much needed.

The Word became flesh
Verse of the Day
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The WORD became flesh, in other words, the WORD became human, and have walked among the disciples. John the disciple, speaks of the GLORY he had experienced as a follower of Jesus. What he had seen from his perspective. He dined with him, he walked with him, he saw the miracles performed. He has seen the GLORY firsthand. He was a front row viewer to this TESTIMONY.

The Good News

The Gospel is revealed. We are saved through faith! Not by any works we do, or don't do. What Christ did on the cross for us. He finished it. It is through faith that a righteous person has life. We are not to be ashamed of the gospel, but proclaim it even louder!

Reflection
In GOD we have redemption through the POWER of his blood, the forgiveness of our sins. Sins we are aware of, and sins we are not aware of, known, and unknown. Everything and I mean everything is laid before GOD. We cannot hide, we cannot skip corners, or cut lines, God is aware of everything that is going on in our lives. We might as well just let him have it. Surrender fully to GOD!
We must come BOLDLY before the Throne of Grace to find mercy in our time of need.

Rock Fortress & Shield

Reflection
David, sang in the time of his despair, to the Lord to protect him from the hand of his enemies. He speaks to God as his
- ROCK: to keep him strong.
- FORTRESS: To keep him secure and hidden from his enemies
- DELIVERER : To protect him from any danger and harm.
Just as David seeks for God in his time of need, to be His rock, fortress, and shield to protect him, and shield him, we too must seek the Lord while he still may be found.
