Sweet Penne | Recipe

When I need a quick meal, I run to this recipe. It’s a compilation of things I have added over the years, to make it what it is today. I hope you enjoy the outcome! Let me know your thoughts!

Sweet Penne

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs Oil Canola, Olive or Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Box of Penne Pasta, bring to a boil, don’t forget to add a few pinches of salt to boil faster
  • 1 Jar of Raguu Sauce, I buy the cheapest kind, I just need the base paste
  • 4 med-size sweet Peppers, a variety of colors, chopped
  • 1 med White Onion, chopped 
  • 1 Tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 Lb Ground Beef, seasoned
  •  SHREDDED Cheese, I like Mexican Style shredded cheese.
  • Seasoning to taste ( 1/2 tsp Salt, 1/4 tsp Black Pepper, 1 tsp Creole Original Seasoning, 1 tsp Minced Garlic )

Let’s Cook!

  1. Bring Pasta to a boil, drain, and set aside. 
  2. Clean, and chop up a mix of vegetables { Onions, peppers, tomatoes)
  3. Season and Brown Ground Beef in a skillet on medium heat, add onions, and set aside.
  4. Brown Ground Beef, prepared vegetables 5  minutes, and finally Raguu  Sauce, sprinkle shredded cheese, and set aside, and it’s ready to be devoured.
