As a swordfighter, I take pleasure in analyzing scriptures. Therefore, I have undertaken the task of dissecting a few words that caught my attention.
” shelter, rest, and shadow ”
When I think of shelter I think of a
▪︎ place, covering, a structure that provides cover or protection, as from the weather.
▪︎ to rest is to cease from labor, take a break, or lay down to take a nap, sleep.
▪︎ shadow a place of covering from the sun, and in climate weather.

I am sitting by my window, observing my backyard, when the Holy Spirit directs my attention to the garden cover that my husband and I installed a few months ago.
All of our vegetation suffered in previous seasons, and the scorching sun withered that dwelled in that place. Despite having soil and a favorable location, the sun and inclement weather prevented anything from growing.
Until we installed a shade, we now have plants growing in that area, safely protected from the sun and ready to bear fruit.
What am I saying?
The plants that were in this secure location concealed themselves under the cover. Did you notice that?
We who dwell, live, reside and abide in the shelter God, in His constant presence, have nothing to worry about. The spiritual gardener takes care of us and tells us to rest His shadow. We have a covenant with God have this promise attached to us and confidence in His safety under the hot sun (extreme hardships and circumstances, even dry grounds) and inclement weather.
On another note,
My tomato plants watermelons, and potatoes are growing perfectly and at a good pace, with nothing to worry about. As the gardener, I take care of them, water them, and keep them safe.
He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.
