About 3 years ago, I had a dream about the Lord’s coming. It was a regular day, nothing was special. I thought it was just like any other day. We were getting ready for a storm, because I was looking for some water bottles, and when I went out outside, I was drawn to the bright light and the sky opened.
The skies opened up, and rainbow clouds filled all around it, in multiple colors. Immediately my eyes saw a bright light, coming from an opening, but I could not see a physical form, I just knew It was HIM. I could not bear to look at the light, there was so much brightness all around. My eyes were drawn to something on what appeared to look like an angel ( often depicted in movies) holding a gold trumpet outlining every detail, it was then that I woke up.
But what I remember most from this dream is the fact that this event happened on an ordinary day. No sounds, no announcement, no warning, just an inclination in my spirit to look at the sky. The bible clearly describes this as an ordinary day, a day that is concealed, and only revealed to the father.
I can still remember the details of this dream as it was yesterday. Today I am moved to share this dream.
Listen, believer, no one knows the hour, or day of the Lord’s coming, but we must always be ready. Ready to meet the King, with a clean heart, and a right spirit. Don’t think just because you are a believer you automatically pass, even the demons tremble, and believe. We must know him personally, create an intentional relationship with him, and have constant communion with Him.
Knowing he was a frail human being, in need of rescue, David the Psalmist proclaimed words, that continually resound in my ear.
Let this be our everyday prayer. Create in us a clean heart, renew a right spirit within us, Lord, restore the joy of our salvation, and grant us a willing spirit to sustain us.
