Today's PARABLE

Parable of the Yeast

Parables are KINGDOM analogies designed to convey a spiritual message.

This KINGDOM is operated by FAITH, and not by SIGHT

MANY do not know what a KINGDOM is, and how it is OPERATED! In order to walk in the KINGDOM we must have the KNOWLEDGE of the KINGDOM, and the KEY to enter in is FAITH

It is fascinating to see how even the most mundane details can be transformed into something meaningful when used in the right context. He would use simple things and common ingredients,  like bread, wheat, and yeast to help folks better understand what he was trying to say. This one time, he told a story that was super relatable and it totally worked – it helped his followers get a better grasp of what he was teaching.

Jesus was pretty cool at using regular stuff and stories to get his point across to people.

Take a moment to reflect on the symbolism behind parables, and let it guide you on your own spiritual journey. By paying attention to the small details, and seeking out the deeper meanings behind them, we too can learn to live a more fulfilling life that is guided by faith and wisdom through the Parables.

Appears both in Matthew 13:33, and Luke 13:20–21, but will be expounded on Matthew 13:33

Once again Jesus is illustrating a parable through another simple matter; a common ingredient, YEAST for the purpose of fermentation, BUT also a demonstration of hidden message.

Yeast is commonly used in baking bread, and baking products. I so often watched my mother, add this ingredient to the common traditional baking bread known as PASKA, which is baked during Easter celebration, for traditional festivities.

This parable SHOWS a multiplication factor that multiplies the dough into abundance. This analogy illustrates the KINGDOM principle of ABUNDANCE. When we add this common ingredient of FAITH into our lives, we will see an abundance of the KINGDOM in our lives. Just a little bit, can multiply into abundance.
