Starting your day with a consistent morning routine and schedule can make all the difference!

Let’s dive into the benefits of having a morning routine and share some tips and ideas to help you create one that suits your lifestyle.

What would happen if we embraced each morning as an invitation to live fully, instead of just another routine?

Benefits of a Morning Routine

- Raise your energy and alertness.
- Clear your mind and improve focus.
- Boost productivity and motivation.
- Improve your well-being and happiness.

1. Raise your energy and alertness:A morning routine can help you feel more alert and energized, making it easier to tackle your daily tasks, and responsibilities.
2. Clear your mind and improve focus: Starting your day with a clear mind and a sense of purpose can help you stay focused and motivated throughout the day.
3. Boost productivity and motivation: A consistent morning routine can help you prioritize your time and make the most of your day.
4. Improve your well-being and happiness: A morning routine can help you tap into your creative potential and find inspiration for your day.

Ways to START your Morning Routine

1. Start small: Begin with a simple routine and gradually add more activities as you become more comfortable and at ease. Make your bed, clean a few dishes in the sink, read a verse or pray, put away food in the fridge, put away dishes, brush your teeth, take a shower (self-explanatory but not so self-explanatory to some).

2. Maintain consistency: Try to perform your routine at the same time every day to train your brain to do it automatically. Establishing a routine can help even the most disorganized person become organized.
DO YOU HAVE A ROUTINE? WHAT does it look like?

3. Prioritize Self-Care: Incorporate activities that nourish your mind, body, and spirit into your morning routine, such as meditation, exercise, listening to a podcast or audiobook, taking a bath, or going for a run. Make this a priority as often as you can, because if you don’t, things can take a toll on you, and wear you out. I take one day for myself to prioritize this need in my life.

4. Be flexible: Don’t be too hard on yourself if miss a day or two, or a run or two. As I always say, give yourself, and give yourself as much grace as you can. After that, get back to where you left off. It’s okay, the laundry and dishes will still be there, just get back on track as soon as you can.
How do you embrace the challenges of a new day with faith and confidence?
